Recent Meals

A few items I made but failed to blog
Puff pastry, pistachio pesto, cherry tomatoes, capers and kalamata olives.
Veggie fritatta. Egg, sweet potatoe, asparagus, leeks, red peppers, mushrooms, parmasean cheese, hummus and kalamative olives.

Vegan, gluten free, sugar free chocolate strawberry pie. It was horrid. No seriously, it is the worst thing I have ever made.

Gluten free pizza crust, pizza sauce, olives, onions, mushrooms and cheese.

This is an asparagus and ricotta pizza. I added bacon (I wasn't vegitarian at the time) and green onions. My husband apparently doesn't like ricotta (who knew?!) so it wasn't a big hit. I LOVED it.

The great meat disappearance

I was thining the other day, that I hadn't posted on here about going Vegitarian. In April of 2012, my husband and I decided to stop eating meat. I had read the book "Skinny Bitch" and I thought it had amazing points. We have successfully been vegitarians since. My husband has lost almost 40 lbs and I lost 20. Woohoo!! So, my new goal for the blog is to help those who don't know much about vegitarianism and turn regular recipes into awsome meat free dishes!
